Every family has a phone full of clips that never became anything. The birthday song from three angles. Forty seconds of a school play. The intention was always there — someday we'll cut these together. Someday needs an editing app, a free weekend, and a tutorial. Someday never comes.
Flixkit's answer is to remove the timeline entirely. A kit tells you exactly what to film — a few short scenes, each with its lines and a camera tip. You shoot them on your phone, in order or not, retakes welcome. Then you hand the takes to us.
Our post production does what an editor would: cuts the scenes together, grades the color so it looks like film instead of phone, sets the title, lays in an original score, and rolls credits with everyone's name — the dog included. You get back a finished little movie, not a project.
Fiddly is the enemy of finished. Nobody's memories should be stuck behind a learning curve.
See what the finish looks like on our post production page — then pick a kit and film one.
