We are parents.
We believe every family has a blockbuster in it — and that making it should be as easy as movie night.
We are building tools that turn an afternoon of takes into a real little film: the kids do the acting, we do the editing, you keep the movie.
And because families film children, we build like privacy is the product — no feeds, no ads, no models trained on your footage.
We set out to make one family movie… And realized that was just the opening scene.
We’re building for movie families new and old — whether you film on a phone, a camera, or whatever’s in reach, Flixkit is for you.
Flixkit’s values
01Make, don't scroll
We want kids pointing the camera, not staring at a feed. Flixkit is screen time that ends with something you made.

Families film children with Flixkit. We collect as little as possible, never sell data, and never use kids' footage to train models.
Read the story →03Finished, not fiddly
No timeline scrubbing or editing apps. You film a few short scenes; we do the editing and hand back a real little film.
Read the story →04Every kid gets a credit
A Flixkit film ends with names in lights. Every kid gets a role sized for them — and everyone who helped, the dog included, makes the credits.
Read the story →05Pay for the movie, not the making
Filming is free forever. You spend a credit only when we turn your takes into a finished film — no subscription, and the movie is yours to keep.

Flixkit is a small crew of parents, filmmakers, and engineers who would rather make a movie than watch one. Kits are written like tiny screenplays, tested on real living rooms, and shipped only when a seven-year-old can film them.
The other half of the studio is post production: the grade, the titles, the score, and the credits that turn phone takes into a film your family premieres, keeps, and rewatches.
