The house rules

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Flixkit, written to be read by a person instead of decoded by one.

Last updated June 24, 2026

In plain English

Adults hold the account. Your films stay yours. One Premiere Ticket finishes one movie, and we only process your footage to provide the service.

Read our Privacy PolicyAsk a question

Welcome to Flixkit. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Flixkit mobile app, website, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who can use Flixkit

Flixkit is built for families to make movies together. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Accounts are held by adults, who are responsible for any children filming with them and for the content they create and keep.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without permission. You can update your details or close your account at any time from your account page.

3. Your content

The films, recordings, and text you create are yours. You grant Flixkit a limited license to store and process your footage solely to provide the Service — for example, to render your scenes into a finished film and to make it available for you to watch and download. We do not sell your content and we do not use children’s footage to train models or for advertising.

4. Acceptable use

  • Film only people who have agreed to be filmed.
  • Don’t use Flixkit to create unlawful, harmful, or abusive content, or to infringe anyone’s rights.
  • Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the Service.

We may suspend or remove content or accounts that violate these Terms, particularly to protect children’s safety.

5. Premiere Ticket purchases and film rights

Finishing a movie requires one Premiere Ticket. Each ticket grants the right to render one finished film (a “film right”) for the whole family. Prices are shown before you buy. Unless required by law or stated otherwise at checkout, ticket purchases are non-refundable once the ticket has been used to render a film. Taxes may apply.

6. Service changes

Flixkit is evolving. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may update these Terms. If we make a material change, we’ll give you reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can’t guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, Flixkit is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
